Wanted PKK terrorists captured in Istanbul's Atatürk Airport

A female Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) terrorist has been captured in the Atatürk Airport in Istanbul province.

The terrorist named Ebru Fırat was captured in an operation which was conducted after receiving tip-offs. She was taken into custody as soon as she got off the plane.

A photo of terrorist Ebru Fırat with PKK Leader Murat Karayılan was reflected in the press.

Turkey has been intensively fighting against the terrorist groups in Turkey, particularly PKK and its affiliated groups along with Daesh.

Counterterrorism operations continue across the country, particularly in the southeastern and eastern regions of Turkey.

The PKK is listed as a terrorist group by Turkey, the United States and the EU.
