Turkey will cross over to the east of Euphrates and you are going to watch from the sidelines
We are going to enter Afrin and you are going to watch from the sidelines.

We are going to enter Manbij and, again, you are going to watch from the sidelines.

We are also going to cross over to the east of Euphrates and you are going to continue to watch from the sidelines.

Because, push has come to shove. Diplomacy has had its say. Turkey is not the Turkey of 2015. The Turkish Armed Forces (TAF) is not the same TAF it was in 2015.

Even if propaganda is being spread that everything is happening against us, even if several impossibilities are reminded and said, “don’t you dare,” there is now a very powerful Turkey where the conditions are much above and beyond the time the 1974 Cyprus Peace Operation was conducted.

And now, that Turkey is the will that is going to destroy the terror corridor that is tried to be established by the Kurdistan Workers’ Party’s (PKK) Syrian affiliate, the Democratic Union Party (PYD) and its armed wing, the People’s Protection Units (YPG), which are used by the U.S. as tools.

You will see; you are going to watch from the sidelines

To foil all the traps that are wanted to be set up in Turkey, to crack the terror corridor that is established in Syria and which they want to flow all the way into our country, we are going to enter both Afrin and Manbij. We are also going to cross over to the east of the Euphrates and you, Selahattin Demirtaş, will watch from the sidelines.

Terror legitimized with the Kobani illusion

You may have forgotten. That’s why I’d like to open a parenthesis. In October 2015, the YPG steered toward the west of the Euphrates, using Daesh as an excuse. Exactly one year ago, using the “Kobani resistance” illusion, the perception that the PYD/YPG gained victory against Daesh was created.

The Turkish left, the Cihangir gang was also in an effort to promote the PYD/YPG terrorist organization to the market – along with statements that “Turkey should cooperate with the Kurds of Rojova.” (Yet, those who they mention as Rojova Kurds was none other than the terrorist organization that exiled the hundreds of thousands of Kurds, who didn’t think like them, from their land in northern Syria.)

Some were insisting on the perception that Turkey was keeping quiet against Daesh and that it was, in fact, supporting it. The Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) and PKK were active together with the Turkish left in forming a public opinion. However, the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETÖ) and certain dark groups of Ankara also had a share in this as much as them. Remembering how the National Intelligence Organization (MİT) trucks plot was set up by the FETÖ traitors is enough in this regard.

We later clearly saw that certain circles in Ankara saying, “If a Kurdish state is going to be established, we should establish it,” and the U.S. mind saying, “The borders of 22 countries in the Middle East are going to change. This includes Turkey,” overlapped and the support came from FETÖ. Remember again, the U.S. slave in Pennsylvania had said in a voice recording that “They want land from us. And we said that it can be discussed.”

The PKK-affiliated PYD/YPG, which gained legitimacy with the Kobani illusion had steered toward the west of the Euphrates, which gave rise to Turkey’s reaction.

Back then (Oct. 28, 2015), HDP Co-Chair Selahattin Demirtaş, made harsh statements about then Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu.

“Davutoğlu, look, the YPG is going to cross beyond Euphrates and you are going to watch from the sidelines on this side of the water.”

Some time after these harsh statements, the PYD crossed over to the west of the Euphrates. The U.S. supplied thousands of truck of weapons to the PKK’s PYD/YPG terrorist organization. The ethnic cleansing in northern Syria included, it approved all sorts of activities that would change the demographic structure.

The organization that acted like they were fighting Daesh was strengthened with great care to use against Turkey.

Remember, Daesh terrorists got out of Raqqa under the supervision of the PKK’s PYD-YPG, also taking their weapons with them.

Back then, we know that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had insisted on the TAF to “enter the north of Syria.” We also know that this was prevented by FETÖ and its actors within the TAF.

Finally, right after the July 15, 2016 coup and invasion attempt, the Euphrates Shield was launched by purging – even if in part – the FETÖ traitors (like Semih Terzi) from the military. Even though the TAF was smaller in personnel numbers, it became stronger in terms of operation capacity. It purged the line spanning Jarablus and al-Bab of Daesh.

Now the threat is the PKK’s PYD-YPG.

And the “threat” must be eliminated in a way that it cannot carry out operations on the ground.

We need to break free of the strait jacket they are trying to put on us.

Just as Daesh was taught its lesson from Jarablus to al-Bab, the PYD/YPG/PKK terrorist organization that is pointing its weapons toward Turkey over the U.S.’s shoulder must be treated in the same way.

To ruin the dreams of those who want to siege Turkey from the south; to prevent the PKK/PYD terrorist organization from putting a pledge on Kurds’ will, it is time to persevere and eliminate the threat on the border with Syria that is targeting Turkey.
