What did the US want to achieve through the July 15 coup attempt?

September 11... September 12... July 15…

After the July 15 coup attempt, Turkey started to cut down on its relations with the U.S. “in dribs and drabs.” Its murmurs can still be heard.

Ankara’s decision along this line is heading towards its fourth year and it can be safe to say that the alliance can no longer maintain its organizational integrity. But it is alive.

This disintegration is not limited to “bilateral” acquis alone. Alliances are becoming less frequent. Many countries are moving away from the West. Turkey declared that it will maintain its presence in NATO. But it did not do this in a way to mean, “We are affiliated with NATO and the Central Treaty Organization (CENTO).”

Whether it happens or not is a different story, but if Turkey withdraws from NATO, it will be a miracle if Europe can escape the tide it is going to get caught up in. Such a move will lead some countries to re-evaluate NATO.

One other meaning of this is the weakening of American hegemony. That is exactly what is happening; it is wilting away before our very eyes like a tuberculosis patient. This is probably why it is coughing up blood everywhere.

If NATO and/or the U.S. are going to march to a front in any region within the Caspian region, Black Sea, Mediterranean, and Yemen, it cannot be done without Turkey. Let us see it “march” towards Iran. They could not collapse Qatar. Their biggest and strongest military bases in the region are here, but the naked truth is that they are on “enemy soil.” Who knows what kind of pictures are painted with respect to Turkey, Iran and Qatar in NATO’s dark gathering places?

On the ground, this “area of influence” has reached all the way to China. There is no more Turkey, no more Iraq, no more Pakistan. There is no Azerbaijan. Turkmenistan cannot be depended on. There is no Afghanistan. Kuwait, Oman? What about them? Especially Oman?

What happened to the Arab NATO?

That too was an American plan. It was going to add Egypt and Jordan to the Gulf countries. They could not even ensure attendance in their meetings. The region is first becoming neutralized and then determining a direction. The “order” is being ruined.

The lead-in was made in May 2017. The “Glowing orb Coalition” collapsed just shy of two years. The plan in which Israel was a shadow partner led to a fallout between Tel Aviv and Washington as well. At the current point, Israel placed intelligence devices around critical institutions in Washington and has been spying on U.S. President Donald Trump and his crew for the last two years.

It is the U.S. leaking these intelligence operations now – despite realizing it long before – that is simultaneous with Bolton’s leave, not the content of the news.

We must also understand Israel-Russia relations. U.S., Russia and Israel national security bosses met twice this year. We have “rough” ideas about this triangle. One is the acceptance that Jews, who have migrated from Russia to Israel, have influenced Moscow.

Is that so?

Could it be that they indeed have influence over Tel Aviv?

For example, such is the case with “most” Israeli commanders. Relations between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Russian President Vladimir Putin are also quite tight. (This is also the secret that Iran will not be attacking Israel.)

Who will this serve? The U.S. or Russia?

How will the conjuncture the U.S. is narrowing down in the Middle East impact Israel’s “preferences”?

The West’s “significant other,” Europe, which they intimidated with the fear of Russia, is not in its old place either. Look well at Germany, France and the U.K. Perhaps France may be standing where it used to be. But are they exactly there?

They are struggling in the face of the U.S.’s calls for an alliance in the Middle East. All because Turkey is not there.

The Gulf Cooperation Council they unleashed on the ground while rubbing the glowing orb is also shaking. Even Egypt withdrew. They are running towards Tehran and Islamabad.

Prime Minister Imran Khan: “Pakistan made a huge mistake by backing the U.S. war against the Soviet administration in Afghanistan. We lost 70,000 of our people. We lost more than $100 billion. And we are the ones paying the price for the failure in Afghanistan.” (Sept. 13, 2019)

And Khan made this statement to “Russia Today.” He is going to speak at the General Assembly at the United Nations meeting that Turkey has been waiting impatiently for.

What did the U.S. want to achieve through July 15?

The answer to this question falls under two items: President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan must be toppled, and a terror corridor/Kurdistan must be built. July 15 was for the Middle East through Turkey. Thw whole of the Middle East, Iraq, Iran, Syria and as a matter of fact, even the likes of Russia were going to fall off that cliff and their partner Saudi Arabia was going to collapse too. Shiite, Sunni, ethnic blood was going to flow into the seas, and countries were going to be divided parcel by parcel.

Ankara will neither forget nor forgive this.

The American dream is turning into a nightmare – both in Turkey and the world.

Russia has no dream, no story to offer to the world. China has no story either. Turkey is the sole country today that offers a story to the world.

The result:

Turkey was crushed by U.S. made plans such as September 11, September 12, May 21 (the glowing orb event) or Combined Task Force, whose results/effects struck it – sometimes directly, other times indirectly.

Today, we are on the eve of another such event.

Yet Turkey, the region and the world’s security/strategical paradigms now highly divergent.

When we say “Let us start with a clean slate,” we are not saying let us turn over a new leaf. We are saying, “Come on, let us clean it up.”

Let us start at our own doorstep.
