384-year-old shopping list found in historic English home

Archaeologists helping to restore a historic country home in Kent, U.K. have discovered a 17th-century shopping list hidden under its floorboards.



The famed Konle House, which was built in the 15th century and is one of England's largest homes, features 365 rooms, 52 balconies, 12 entrances, and seven gardens.



It was revealed that the uncovered shopping list, along with two other handwritten notes found on the site, date back to the years 1603, 1622 and 1633 respectively.





Among the items included on the list are fish, two dozen tinned spoons, a frying pan and various vegetables.



The list was penned by one of the home's head butlers named Robert Draper.
