A man killed his wife and two teenage children on Wednesday in an apparent murder-suicide at their home in the central Antalya district of Aksu.
The mentally ill man, identified as 60 year old Muammer Gül, reportedly first killed his children, aged 13 and 15, by poisoning them. Afterward, he retrieved a pump-action rifle and shot dead his wife, Anna, who was of Russian origin.
Muammer then turned the rifle on himself.
