Turkey's death toll from coronavirus rises to 501

Turkey confirmed 76 more deaths from the novel coronavirus on Saturday, bringing the total fatalities to 501.

Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said on Twitter that the number of confirmed cases of the coronavirus (CODIV-19) in the country rose by 3,013 to 23,934.

So far, a total of 786 patients have recovered and been discharged from hospitals, while 1.311 patients are currently in intensive care, Koca added.
