Turkish official due at artificial intel meet in Berlin

One-day conference expected to contribute to scientific, industrial, commercial ties between Turkey, Germany

Turkey's Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank will attend a conference on artificial intelligence in Berlin on Thursday.

According to a statement by the ministry on Tuesday, Varank will be accompanied by Arda Ermut, president of Turkey’s Investment Office, and Ali Taha Koc, head of the Digital Transformation Office of the presidency.

The one-day conference, of which Varank is the guest of honor, is expected to contribute to the improvement of scientific, industrial, and commercial ties between the two countries.

As part of his trip, Varank will visit Germany's prominent institutes for basic and applied researches in the field of artificial intelligence and digital transformation such as Max Planck and Fraunhofer Institutes.

He will also meet with Turkish scientists as well as Turkish and German investors.
