A Turkish military aircraft carrying medical aid departed from the capital Ankara for Italy and Spain, the countries worst hit by the novel coronavirus in Europe. 'After despair, many hopes flourish just as after darkness, thousands of suns open and start to shine,' said notes attached to cargo boxes, a quote from Sufi poet Mevlana Jalaludin Rumi. 'With love from Turkey to the people of Spain and Italy,' it added.
