Iran minister says Tehran fully prepared to tackle US sanctions

Iran's government has plans to protect the nation against U.S. economic pressure, Iran's Economy Minister Farhad Dejpasand was quoted as saying on Tuesday, a day after Washington imposed new sanctions on Tehran.

"We have our plans and options to counter the enemy's pressure and sanctions," the semi-official Tasnim News agency quoted Dejpasand as saying. "But I will not reveal more details about our plans."
