2020 FIFA Club World Cup to be held February

Coronavirus pandemic forces FIFA to move tournament from December to February

The 2020 FIFA Club World Cup will be held in February, FIFA said Tuesday.

The world’s governing football body said the tournament will be held in Qatar from Feb. 1 to 11.

The tournament was originally scheduled for December but the ongoing coronavirus pandemic forced FIFA to pick new dates for the tournament.
