From Moscow, he sends heartfelt regards to the Turkish people and President Erdogan. Upon his conversion to Islam, Vladimir took on the name Mehmet. In a brief interview with a Yeni Safak reporter, Mehmet highlighted the strong bond between Russians and Turks, while also offering his heartfelt support to the nation following the tragic earthquake in southern Türkiye.
